Again it is time to begin thinking about the coming year, 2011 and how Immanuel Lutheran Church will meet the needs of it’s members and the community. It is good to reconsider and meditate on the stewardship of the many gifts and blessings of God: to give thanks and praise for all He has done: to ponder and consider how to use them for the glory of God and how to reach out to the community with the Good News.Consider how the ladies in Sarah Circle sewed together little pieces of different colors and patterns to make a beautiful quilt. It was voted Best of Show and Best Use Of Color, winning second place out of the 58 quilts donated to Luther Point and auctioned off August 14th. Congratulations! A sincere thank you for giving your time, talent and cooperation to create such a beautiful masterpiece of art. Thanks to all who participated in Vacation Bible School helping spread the Good News! May God be with you and bless you.
