For 50
years, Americans have been challenged by John F. Kennedy’s “Ask not what your
country can do for you. Ask what can I do for my country.” In this time of change,
Immanuel’s members can ask themselves “Where can I serve, where can I make a
difference?”
Isn’t
it amazing the many different choices made each day of God’s gift of time; routines,
work, learning, sleeping, playing, eating, service. SERVICE –a servant like Jesus—caring for others, teaching,
helping, a random act of kindness. How blessed Immanuel has
been in the past. When needed, someone has
responded. As we move into the future, may
Immanuel Lutheran continue to be a serving, caring place.
May the blessings of God
surround you. May His peace be within
you. May His love shine through
